All properties therefore have a fully-equipped kitchen, satellite television with Dutch television and radio channels, free Wi-Fi and water coolers.

About BBNerja - Casa La Buena Vida

Welcome to BBNerja holiday rental accommodations in Nerja, Torrox and Frigiliana. Enjoy the many mango- and avocadotrees and of course the fruits.

The climate in the area makes it perfect to stay a longer period in winter.

Our rental accommodations are located in Nerja, Torrox and Frigiliana at only a short distance from the beaches and the delightful centre and boulevards. 

The beautiful area is also perfect for a get a way on motorbike, we can help you with the rental also. If you want an more active holiday, just ask us and we will help you to the perfect activity!

Frigiliana is named one of the most beautiful white towns of Andalusia, so just come and see for yourselfs.

Also skiing is a possibility, just one hour from Nerja you find Sierra Nevada, with more than 180 km of slopes.


All properties have a fully-equipped kitchen, satellite or internet television with (Dutch) television and radio channels, free Wi-Fi and water coolers. The furniture in all the accommodations is modern.

Description

This beautiful luxury penthouse offers 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a seperate toilet, the building has a lift and indoor parking is also possible,

The terras directly next to the salon is spacious and you will find the seaview breathtaking, the sun is from the early afternoon untill the late hours on this terras.

There are no buildings directly in front of the penthouse, so the view is open.

Also the bedroom on the secondfloor has a seperate terras with 2 sunbeds.

The community has 2 beautiful pools with gardens and just a few steps away from the beach with the nice restaurants where you also can rent a sunbed in summertime. Just a short walk from the boulevard of Torrox, so everything for a lovely family holiday!

We also offer an airport service (€100 return). We will pick you up from the airport and drop you off again at the end of your holiday.

General Terms and Conditions BBNerja, hereafter: Casa La Buena Vida

  1. Casa La Buena Vida only rents out its own properties.
  2. The tenant: the person who rents a holiday property for himself/herself and for any others in his or her name.
  3. The landlord: Casa La Buena Vida
  4. The website: www.bbnerja.com
  5. The rental agreement: agreement to let or rent a holiday home deemed to have been entered into between tenant and landlord.

Booking and Cancellation

  1. A booking application for a Casa La Buena Vida holiday rental can only be made through an online booking. The receipt will be confirmed with a request for a deposit.
  2. The deposit must be paid within 7 days of receipt of the booking into the Casa La Buena Vida account in the name of APM Rijken and/or C.Breijer.
  3. Once Casa La Buena Vida has received the deposit, the booking will be confirmed definitely and a rental agreement will be established. Cancellation by tenant after this confirmation will therefore incur 10% costs.
  4. The costs for cancellation by tenant within 2 months of the arrival date will be 50% of the net rental sum (i.e. excl. costs and deposit) with a minimum of 120 Euros; costs for cancellation within 6 weeks of the arrival date will be the total of the net rental sum.
  5. The tenant will take out travel and cancellation insurance if so desired. (Note: this is possible through e.g. the Royal Dutch Touring Club ANWB)
  6. The minimum stay calculated is four nights, unless indicated otherwise for any property. A shorter stay with adapted checking out times is possible in consultation.

Payment

  1. The rental sum (including deposit) will be paid partly in cash and partly by bank transfer or in its entirety by bank transfer, depending on the tenant’s preference.
  2. The deposit for payment of the entire rental sum by bank transfer will be 50% and the rest must be paid no later than 4 weeks before arrival.
  3. When paying partly in cash, an advance payment on account of 50% of the rental sum to the property manager is required on arrival, on the understanding that no more than 500 Euros can be paid in cash.
  4. When paying in cash, be aware that bills or cheques of 200 Euros or over are no longer accepted.
  5. With bookings made within 4 weeks of arrival through payment by bank transfer, the complete rental sum must be paid outright.
  6. Failure to comply with the obligation to pay, after one reminder, will result in the booking being cancelled without any obligation to repay the deposit.
  7. Departure before the departure date agreed on - regardless of reason or cause - will not result in repayment of expenses paid for rent or cleaning costs.
  8. In case Casa La Buena Vida is obliged to cancel the rental agreement by force majeure or sale of the holiday property he will notify the tenant of such by email. Casa La Buena Vida is obligated to immediate repayment of the sums already paid. The tenant has no right other than reclaiming this sum.

Deposit

  1. De tenant will pay a deposit. The amount of the deposit can vary per holiday rental and rental period.
  2. The landlord is permitted to subtract any amount from the deposit if the main tenant, the co-tenants, guests or pets have caused any damage to the property, the inventory and/or the surroundings of the property or if the payment obligation has not been met.
  3. A final check will be carried out for damage on departure of the tenant unless tenant can demonstrate having made other arrangements with Casa La Buena Vida.
  4. Energy costs will be deducted from the deposit. These are the actual consumption of gas, oil and/or electricity unless indicated otherwise on the website (i.e. indication of no or other costs.)
  5. To avoid any misunderstandings, Casa La Buena Vida will always carry out the end of stay cleaning.
  6. If at the end of the rental period there is no need for any deductions by reason of article 2, the deposit, or the remainder of the deposit, will be reimbursed within 14 days of the departure date.

Liability

  1. The property or properties are not rented to persons under 21 years. Without accompanying parents, access to the property will be denied on arrival. In case of doubt, Casa La Buena Vida is permitted to ask for identification. In case of a breach of the rules, the tenant will be summoned to vacate the property immediately. Any sums paid will not be reimbursed.
  2. The tenant will remain liable for any damage caused, even if this damage is assessed after departure.
  3. The tenant is legally liable for his actions or omissions as well as the actions of his co-tenants and guests, and for any damage they cause. The tenant must have third-party insurance.
  4. The tenant accepts that in no event can he invoke liability of Casa La Buena Vida for any damage caused by the tenant, his co-tenants or guests, goods or pets during his stay.
  5. Complaints of the tenant that are a result of a discrepancy between the house or inventory and the description on the website, or of the poor state of maintenance of the property or garden on arrival of the tenant must be reported to Casa La Buena Vida within 24 hours of arrival.
  6. In the event a complaint cannot be resolved amicably within a period of 1 month, a dispute exists.

  3. In case of a breach of this rule the deposit will not be refunded because of the professional cleaning costs required.

Pets

General Terms and Conditions BBNerja, hereafter: Casa La Buena Vida

  1. Casa La Buena Vida only rents out its own properties.
  2. The tenant: the person who rents a holiday property for himself/herself and for any others in his or her name.
  3. The landlord: Casa La Buena Vida
  4. The website: www.bbnerja.com
  5. The rental agreement: agreement to let or rent a holiday home deemed to have been entered into between tenant and landlord.

Booking and Cancellation

  1. A booking application for a Casa La Buena Vida holiday rental can only be made through an online booking. The receipt will be confirmed with a request for a deposit.
  2. The deposit must be paid within 7 days of receipt of the booking into the Casa La Buena Vida account in the name of APM Rijken and/or C.Breijer.
  3. Once Casa La Buena Vida has received the deposit, the booking will be confirmed definitely and a rental agreement will be established. Cancellation by tenant after this confirmation will therefore incur 10% costs.
  4. The costs for cancellation by tenant within 2 months of the arrival date will be 50% of the net rental sum (i.e. excl. costs and deposit) with a minimum of 120 Euros; costs for cancellation within 6 weeks of the arrival date will be the total of the net rental sum.
  5. The tenant will take out travel and cancellation insurance if so desired. (Note: this is possible through e.g. the Royal Dutch Touring Club ANWB)
  6. The minimum stay calculated is four nights, unless indicated otherwise for any property. A shorter stay with adapted checking out times is possible in consultation.

Payment

  1. The rental sum (including deposit) will be paid partly in cash and partly by bank transfer or in its entirety by bank transfer, depending on the tenant’s preference.
  2. The deposit for payment of the entire rental sum by bank transfer will be 50% and the rest must be paid no later than 4 weeks before arrival.
  3. When paying partly in cash, an advance payment on account of 50% of the rental sum to the property manager is required on arrival, on the understanding that no more than 500 Euros can be paid in cash.
  4. When paying in cash, be aware that bills or cheques of 200 Euros or over are no longer accepted.
  5. With bookings made within 4 weeks of arrival through payment by bank transfer, the complete rental sum must be paid outright.
  6. Failure to comply with the obligation to pay, after one reminder, will result in the booking being cancelled without any obligation to repay the deposit.
  7. Departure before the departure date agreed on - regardless of reason or cause - will not result in repayment of expenses paid for rent or cleaning costs.
  8. In case Casa La Buena Vida is obliged to cancel the rental agreement by force majeure or sale of the holiday property he will notify the tenant of such by email. Casa La Buena Vida is obligated to immediate repayment of the sums already paid. The tenant has no right other than reclaiming this sum.

Deposit

  1. De tenant will pay a deposit. The amount of the deposit can vary per holiday rental and rental period.
  2. The landlord is permitted to subtract any amount from the deposit if the main tenant, the co-tenants, guests or pets have caused any damage to the property, the inventory and/or the surroundings of the property or if the payment obligation has not been met.
  3. A final check will be carried out for damage on departure of the tenant unless tenant can demonstrate having made other arrangements with Casa La Buena Vida.
  4. Energy costs will be deducted from the deposit. These are the actual consumption of gas, oil and/or electricity unless indicated otherwise on the website (i.e. indication of no or other costs.)
  5. To avoid any misunderstandings, Casa La Buena Vida will always carry out the end of stay cleaning.
  6. If at the end of the rental period there is no need for any deductions by reason of article 2, the deposit, or the remainder of the deposit, will be reimbursed within 14 days of the departure date.

Liability

  1. The property or properties are not rented to persons under 21 years. Without accompanying parents, access to the property will be denied on arrival. In case of doubt, Casa La Buena Vida is permitted to ask for identification. In case of a breach of the rules, the tenant will be summoned to vacate the property immediately. Any sums paid will not be reimbursed.
  2. The tenant will remain liable for any damage caused, even if this damage is assessed after departure.
  3. The tenant is legally liable for his actions or omissions as well as the actions of his co-tenants and guests, and for any damage they cause. The tenant must have third-party insurance.
  4. The tenant accepts that in no event can he invoke liability of Casa La Buena Vida for any damage caused by the tenant, his co-tenants or guests, goods or pets during his stay.
  5. Complaints of the tenant that are a result of a discrepancy between the house or inventory and the description on the website, or of the poor state of maintenance of the property or garden on arrival of the tenant must be reported to Casa La Buena Vida within 24 hours of arrival.
  6. In the event a complaint cannot be resolved amicably within a period of 1 month, a dispute exists.
  7. Casa La Buena Vida and the tenant will have to resolve their differences in joint consultation.

Balcón de Europa

Undoubtedly the heart of Nerja and one of its main symbols the Balcón de Europa is almost always included in directions when trying to find anything in the town. The area known as the Balcón de Europa was formally the site of a fortress which was finally demolished in 1812 to prevent it from falling into the hands of the French during the Spanish war of Independence. Following an earthquake that devastated the area in 1884, King Alfonso XII visited the region and during a visit to Nerja remarked that it was the Balcony of Europe. Obviously the name stuck and the Balcón de Europa was born and to commemorate this moment in the towns history you’ll find a bronze statue of the King himself looking out to sea on the eastern side of the Balcón. Opposite to the entrance to the Balcón de Europa Hotel you’ll find another smaller monument below the palm trees. A globe sat atop a plinth. This is to commemorate the discovery in 1959 of the Nerja Caves by five local boys.

Throughout the year the Balcón sees a number of events with most processions either starting or ending at the church of El Salvador located just behind and to the west. The Balcony also forms the centrepiece of the New Years celebrations with large crowds gathering here to celebrate the coming year.

Nerja Caves

Ever since their discovery in 1959 by a group of local boys, the Nerja Caves have proven to be a source of fascination for tourists and geologists alike, propelling it to be the third most visited site in Spain. Around a third of the caverns already discovered are open to the public whilst the rest remain closed due to the difficulty in their access or because of continuing scientific research.

Recent discoveries may however mean that the caves are even more important than previously thought with analysis showing that some of the paintings found within may be as old as 43,000 years and the work of Neanderthals instead of Homo sapiens as has previously been believed. The Nerja caves are also home to the world’s largest stalagmite, measuring in at an impressive 32 meters (105ft) tall and 13 metres by 7 metres at its base.

Playa Burriana

It is one of the most crowded beaches in the town. It is a beach with a good range of facilities and beautiful surroundings, plenty of cliffs and mountains. It is frequently visited by entire families. At this beach, you can also do many sports such as: windsurfing, sailing, scuba diving and volleyball.

In 2004, it was awarded, together with another Andalusian beach, the Q-Mark for Tourist Quality. This certification has been maintained ever since.

Every year, it is also awarded the Blue Flag.

River walk Rio Chillar and waterfall

One of the best ways to cool down on a hot summer´s day is to take a walk along the Rio Chillar from Nerja. Unusually for Andalucía, this route is most suitable for walking during June, July and August, as there is plenty of shade, plus the river to keep you cool. The scenery is spectacular and there are birds, butterflies, dragonflies, wild flowers, grasses and even sugar canes to be spotted along the way. If you’re really lucky, you might even catch sight of a mountain goat. This is a very popular walk for visitors and locals alike, and can get quite busy, especially at weekends.
